Cancer Center Leadership Role
The Cancer Center Director is responsible for the overall leadership and strategic direction of the Cancer Center and Day Hospital. This role involves leading the day-to-day operations, including directing, organizing, planning, staffing, and resource management to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care.
The Director will collaborate with various departments and stakeholders to promote innovation and excellence in all cancer-related activities. This role will be responsible for developing and implementing business plans for growth of services, building of physician and network relationships, community partnerships, and referrals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the Cancer Center and Day Hospital operations
- Develop and implement business plans for growth and service development
- Collaborate with departments and stakeholders to promote innovation and excellence
- Build and maintain physician and network relationships
- Develop and implement strategies for community partnerships and referrals
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in health sciences, business, or related field of study
- Minimum of 5 years prior managerial experience in medical group practice management, oncology preferred
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written, and the proven ability to successfully lead and motivate a workforce
Preferred Qualifications:
- Postgraduate degree preferred
- Demonstrated experience in strategic planning, program development, and financial management
- Knowledge of regulatory and compliance regulations preferred
- Familiarity with coding and hospital-based clinics preferred
