About the Role:
Dietary Aides play a vital role in supporting the health and nutrition of residents at Living Legends Health. As a Dietary Aide, you will assist with food preparation services while upholding strict sanitation and safe handling procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure that each resident's meal, snack, and beverage are prepared according to their medical nutrition plans.
- Responsible for various aspects of the kitchen work, including preparing and serving meals, dishwashing, stocking unit kitchenettes, working tray line, and setting tables for serving.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 16 years of age.
- Previous dietary experience preferred.
- High degree of personal cleanliness and hygiene required.
- Health status suitable for food service required.
- Ability to read and understand work assignments, as well as report verbally and provide written documentation as necessary.
- Respect for residents' privacy and rights; display of genuine concern and empathy for the elderly.
- Able to perform tasks while upholding high standards of quality, cleanliness, and kindness.
- Qualities of responsibility, diplomacy, and ability to work well with fellow staff members.
- Physical endurance for frequent activity.
