Optum Behavioral Care is a leading provider of behavioral health services. We are seeking a licensed clinical therapist to join our team in North Kingstown, Rhode Island.

About the Role

This is a rewarding opportunity for an experienced mental health professional to work with diverse patient populations and provide high-quality care. As a licensed clinical therapist, you will be responsible for conducting outpatient psychiatric evaluations, providing ongoing medication management, and participating in training programs for graduate students.

Our ideal candidate has a Master's degree in psychology, social work, or a related field, and holds a clear, active, and unrestricted license in Rhode Island. Experience working with computers for professional communication and medical documentation is preferred. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively is essential.

We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including a salary range of $58,300 to $114,300 annually, based on education, work experience, and certifications. Our benefits also include equity stock purchase, 401k contribution, and incentive and recognition programs.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct outpatient psychiatric evaluations and provide ongoing medication management
  • Participate in training programs for graduate students
  • Screen and assess patients for common mental health and substance abuse disorders
  • Provide treatment for a variety of mental health conditions using evidence-based methods
Qualifications
  • Master's degree in psychology, social work, or a related field
  • Clear, active, and unrestricted license in Rhode Island
  • Experience working with computers for professional communication and medical documentation
