Ultrasound Imaging Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join our team at Baylor Scott & White Memorial Hospital in Temple, Texas. As an essential member of our imaging department, you will be responsible for performing high-quality ultrasound procedures, maintaining equipment and work areas, and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities- Perform high-quality ultrasound procedures according to exam protocols in a timely manner.
- Maintain production and quality of imaging procedures by adhering to established standards and procedures.
- Communicate effectively with patients, their families, and colleagues to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Prepare patients and areas for procedures, utilizing proper sterile techniques when necessary.
- Adhere to safety requirements, infection-control policies, and radiation regulations.
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- A high school diploma or equivalent certification.
- Certification as an ARRT-S Sonography (ARRT-S), ARRT-BS Breast Sonography (ARRT-BS), or Registered Vascular Tech (RVT).
- Ability to perform tasks independently without routine oversight and maintain a calm, helpful attitude under stress.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
