We are seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join our team at Baylor Scott & White Memorial Hospital in Temple, Texas. As an essential member of our imaging department, you will be responsible for performing high-quality ultrasound procedures, maintaining equipment and work areas, and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform high-quality ultrasound procedures according to exam protocols in a timely manner.
  • Maintain production and quality of imaging procedures by adhering to established standards and procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, their families, and colleagues to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Prepare patients and areas for procedures, utilizing proper sterile techniques when necessary.
  • Adhere to safety requirements, infection-control policies, and radiation regulations.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent certification.
  • Certification as an ARRT-S Sonography (ARRT-S), ARRT-BS Breast Sonography (ARRT-BS), or Registered Vascular Tech (RVT).
  • Ability to perform tasks independently without routine oversight and maintain a calm, helpful attitude under stress.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • A commitment to ongoing education and professional development.
