This is an exciting opportunity to join US Foods, Inc. as a CDL A Delivery Truck Driver. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for safely transporting food products to customers, ensuring accurate deliveries while meeting customer service expectations.

About the Role:

  • ">
  • Safely drive trucks to customers and meet scheduled delivery times.">
  • Carefully unload products from the trailer using equipment such as two-wheelers, pallet jacks, or by hand.">
  • Verify accuracy of delivery with customers and obtain proper signatures.">
  • Handle collections and payments from customers when applicable.">
  • Professionally perform customer service responsibilities to enhance the client experience.">
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip equipment inspections.">

Requirements:

  • A valid CDL Class A issued by the state of legal residence with necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications.">
  • At least six months of commercial driving experience (any industry) or three months in the food and/or beverage delivery industry required.">
  • Ability to operate manual transmission preferred; may be required in specific locations.">
  • Must be able to read and communicate in the English language.">
  • Registering to the FMCSA Clearinghouse is a requirement by the Department of Transportation.">

Compensation:

The estimated annual salary for this role ranges between $58,944 and $67,168, depending on relevant experience and location. This includes competitive pay starting at $28.40 per hour, with annual increases, a retention bonus, and numerous benefits.
