Nurse Educator

SAC Health is seeking a Clinical Nurse Educator to join our team. As a key member of our nursing department, you will be responsible for the development and implementation of education programs for clinical staff.

Job Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive education programs for nursing staff, including orientation, training, and competencies.
- Assess and evaluate the effectiveness of education programs, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
- Collaborate with nursing leadership to ensure that all nursing-related policies and procedures are up-to-date and in place.
- Communicate directly with nursing leadership regarding educational and training needs, policies, and procedures, and other clinical workflows.
- Travel to clinics regularly to provide support and guidance to clinical staff.
- Oversight of assigned clinical personnel and practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's of Science in Nursing required; Master's of Science in Nursing preferred.
- Active, current, and unexpired California Registered Nursing License, current CPR/BLS certification, valid California driver's license, and auto insurance.
- One year experience in education, teaching or policy development/review AND a minimum of three years of clinical nursing experience required. Out-patient clinic experience preferred.
