Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Summer Youth Program Staff in Orange County. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the delivery of our summer program, working with children aged 6-12 and assisting with activities such as education, games, art, dance, and STEM.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the implementation of daily program activities, including educational sessions and recreational events;
- Provide one-on-one support to students, promoting their social, emotional, and academic development;
- Assist with supervision of students during meals and snacks, ensuring a safe and respectful environment;
- Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge;
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure seamless delivery of programs and services;
- Maintain accurate records and reports as required;
- Adhere to Alleous Inc policies and procedures, upholding the highest standards of integrity and professionalism.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework preferred;
- First aid and CPR training and certification required;
- Previous experience working with minors in an individual or group setting preferred;
- Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks efficiently, and manage time effectively;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- Ability to serve as a positive role model and mentor, demonstrating patience and understanding when interacting with students;
- Comfortable working in a team environment, collaborating with colleagues to achieve common goals.
Compensation
The estimated annual salary for this position is $40,000-$45,000, depending on qualifications and experience. Benefits include comprehensive health insurance, paid vacation time, and opportunities for professional development and advancement.
Location
This position is based in Orange County, with camp operating hours Monday-Friday 7:00 AM-6:00 PM. We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, as well as opportunities for career growth and development.
