Operational Excellence Team Director

We are seeking a highly skilled Operational Excellence Team Director to join our team at Brookshire Grocery Company. In this role, you will be responsible for executing various store operation standards and procedures to maintain quality of product, food and physical safety, and inventory stock levels.
Job Summary:
- You will work in conjunction with upper management to train and develop partners, schedule, plan, assign, and direct work.
- You will support upper management with the review of historical data regarding sales, ads and promotions. You will co-manage inventory using item management processes to ensure satisfactory in-stock levels.
- You will indirectly be responsible for maintaining and improving sales performance, cash flow, public relations, product quality, and work standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Store Operations: Ensure that all store operations are executed according to company standards and procedures.
- Inventory Management: Co-manage inventory using item management processes to ensure satisfactory in-stock levels.
- Sales Performance: Indirectly responsible for maintaining and improving sales performance.
- Cash Flow: Ensure that cash flow is managed effectively.
- Public Relations: Maintain positive relationships with customers and community members.
- Product Quality: Ensure that products meet company quality standards.
- Work Standards: Maintain high standards of work ethics and behavior.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in retail grocery store operations.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic knowledge of SAP for reporting purposes.
- Ability to lead and motivate others.
- Ability to remain professional and courteous with customers.
- Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage time.
- Ability to carry out short-term strategic objectives aligned with Company initiatives.
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to evaluate partner performance and make corrections as needed.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive information.
- Ability to learn new technology systems, methods and processes.
- Ability to perform basic Microsoft Office functions.
Estimated Salary:$65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience.
