About the Role

The Branch Manager II is a key leadership position responsible for directing the operations of a medium-sized remote bank facility. This role ensures the branch meets organizational, financial, operational, service, and growth plans. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of branch staff, ensuring customers are promptly and professionally served, and driving revenue growth while minimizing operational losses.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage direct reports to maximize productivity, efficiency, and the potential of the human assets of the company.
  • Underwrite loans within authorized levels and review loan underwriting decisions of subordinate personnel.
  • Represent the branch in its relationships with customers, business, community, and civic organizations, as well as suppliers, other financial institutions, and similar groups.
  • Monitor all branch activities to ensure compliance with established bank policies, procedures, and government regulations.
  • Prepare and submit standard reports, attend scheduled management meetings, and maintain effective communication with the main office.
Requirements
  • 7 or more years of similar or related experience, including preparatory experience.
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Excellent understanding of banking regulations and compliance.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, ability to prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities, and effective communication skills.
