Medical Support Team Lead

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to fill the role of House Supervisor at Inova Health System. As a key member of our nursing team, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of high-quality patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our healthcare facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff to ensure excellent patient care and outcomes.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve patient safety and satisfaction.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to achieve departmental and organizational goals.
- Manage and coordinate patient care activities, including admissions, discharges, and transfers.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accreditation standards.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a current RN license in Massachusetts.
- 3+ years of experience in medical/surgical nursing, with a focus on leadership and management.
- Ability to quickly gain competency in various hospital software applications.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Critical care nursing experience, with at least two years of progressively more responsible management experience.
- Completion of a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or equivalent.
