What You'll Do

You will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, handling registration and check-out, managing mail and message services, and maintaining accurate records.

Your Responsibilities

  • Review arrivals and special requests, blocking rooms as needed.
  • Check in and out hotel guests confidently, professionally, and with a friendly demeanor.
  • Answer phone calls promptly and knowledgeably, ensuring complete and accurate information.
  • Complete tasks on the checklist by the end of your shift.
  • Conduct pre-assignment of hotel rooms, including VIPS, repeat guests, packages, and special requests.
  • FOLLOW established key control policy.
  • Ensure proper credit policies are followed.
  • Submit lost and found articles with a completed report.
  • Balance daily shift bank, counting and verifying cash, check, and credit card transactions.
  • Verify credit limit report.
  • Monitor room availability throughout the day.
  • Review daily selling status using yield management system.
  • Attend monthly department meeting.
  • Communicate with other departments via telephone and/or radio.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A high school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • Previous experience in a front desk or customer-facing role.
  • Knowledge of the immediate area, services, attractions, and events.
  • The ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Flexibility under pressure, dealing with many arrivals and departures within a short period.
  • Familiarity with hotel systems and operations.

Benefits

We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, including a minimum estimated salary of $45,000 per year, based on location and experience. This estimate may vary depending on factors such as the specific location of the hotel, local cost of living, and individual qualifications and experience.
