Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Caregiver Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for providing direct care and support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, including those with autism, mental illness, and behavioral challenges.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds and abilities. You will also have a strong commitment to delivering high-quality care that prioritizes the unique needs and goals of each client.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct care and support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, including assistance with daily living activities, medication management, and behavior support
  • Develop and implement personalized care plans that meet the unique needs and goals of each client
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care
  • Document client progress and participate in ongoing quality improvement initiatives
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must:

  • Have a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Have a valid driver's license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance
  • Pass a background check and obtain any required certifications or training
