Job Title: Performance Tester-QA Analyst

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Performance Tester-QA Analyst to join our team at Navtech. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in performance testing, quality assurance, and software development. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and executing performance test plans, analyzing results, and identifying areas for improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

- Analyze business and system requirements to design performance test plans and test scenarios.
- Execute performance tests using performance tools and analyze results.
- Assist in gathering performance requirements by analyzing production and system logs.
- Contribute to test plans, test requirements, test scenarios, and test data for use during all testing phases of the software development lifecycle.
- Lead test case reviews, design reviews, and change control activities to ensure performance test plans and scenarios fully exercise every aspect of the product.
- Certify each release by performing impact analysis on staging environments.
- Perform impact analysis of any infrastructure changes, including OS and platform upgrades, maintenance releases, and hardware upgrades.
- Perform fail-over and recovery scenarios and document performance metrics.
- Analyze results for load, stress, volume, and endurance testing.
- Recommend technical approach based on performance test results and collect data to build benchmarks to provide optimal performance levels.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree and/or relevant technical training.
- Five to seven years of directly related experience.
- One to two years of operational and/or technical experience.
- Five years of experience developing test strategies, test plans, test case gathering techniques, using automation and performance tools, and developing manual and automated test scripts.
- Five years of experience with JMeter, Load Runner, LoadUI, SoapUI.
- Five years of hands-on performance/automation testing experience in client-server and/or web-based environments.
- Demonstrated experience with project management software, third-party testing tools, change management tools, software development in an agile environment, and development frameworks.
- Demonstrated RDBMS experience and ability to write queries.
- Strong technical documentation experience, interpersonal, and communication skills.

Desired Skills:

- Experience with high-transaction data and volume systems.
- Agile ADLC, Appian, or similar BPM platforms.
- Cloud architecture, operating systems, and scripting languages.
- Knowledge of networking and system engineering concepts.
