Cybersecurity Expert

Pueo Business Solutions is seeking a skilled Cybersecurity Expert to join our team as a Penetration Tester.

We are looking for an experienced Penetration Tester who can help us identify and assess potential security vulnerabilities in our systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of penetration testing best practices, tools, and techniques.

About the Role

• Conduct penetration testing and vulnerability assessments to identify potential security weaknesses.
• Develop and implement penetration testing plans to test our systems and networks.
• Analyze results and provide recommendations for remediation.
• Work collaboratively with our IT team to implement security patches and updates.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest penetration testing tools and techniques.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related field (e.g., computer science, cybersecurity) or equivalent experience/combined education.
• At least 8 years of professional experience in penetration testing and vulnerability assessment.
• Excellent knowledge of penetration testing tools and techniques (e.g., Kali Linux, Metasploit).
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment with multiple projects and deadlines.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Masters' degree from an accredited college in a related field.
• DHS Risk and Vulnerability Assessment (RVA) Operator certified.
• Prior experience in incident detection and response, malware analysis, or cyber forensics.
• Experience with cloud-based penetration testing (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform).
