Accident Reconstruction Engineer at J.S. Held LLC

About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Accident Reconstruction Engineer to join our team in New York, USA.

This role is responsible for conducting engineering analysis of traffic accidents, performing on-site inspections, and consulting with attorneys and insurance adjusters.

Responsibilities
  • Investigate mechanical systems failures and accidents by researching design and operation.
  • Perform vehicle dynamics research, including full-scale vehicle testing and data acquisition.
  • Testify as an expert witness in depositions and trials.
Requirements

Qualified candidates should have a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering, M.S. preferred.

A minimum of five years of experience in vehicle accident reconstruction is required, along with ACTAR certification and licensure as a professional engineer.
