We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team as a Travel RN, providing high-quality care across multiple locations within a 150-mile radius.

About the Role

This opportunity allows for flexibility in scheduling without the burden of a contract, offering a competitive salary and mileage reimbursement. As a Travel RN with The Good Samaritan Society, you will work in various clinical settings, adapting to different environments while maintaining excellent patient care and education.

Job Description

The ideal candidate will have experience in long-term care and possess strong nursing skills, including resident assessment, care coordination, and delegation of tasks to support staff. You will be responsible for ensuring safe, reliable administration of resident care and resolving service concerns.

  • Provide direct patient care, including preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, and treatment.
  • Care for residents in all phases, promoting their overall well-being.
  • Coordinate care with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive treatment plans.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you must have:

  • A current unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing or multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state.
  • Previous experience in long-term care, preferably six months or more.
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred, but a graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program is also acceptable.
