Plant Financial Management Specialist

A Plant Controller will serve as a key business partner, working closely with plant and financial management to effectively manage and control the local business. This role oversees daily accounting operations from project budget management to operational stages of the plant.
About the JobThis Plant Controller position requires strong leadership, communication, and team building skills. The ideal candidate will have experience in cost accounting, reporting, and variance analysis, as well as proficiency in accounting systems and financial practices.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining fiscal records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring the implementation of effective internal controls. They will also work closely with corporate financial staff to develop and implement strategic plans for the plant.
Main Responsibilities- Coordinate and direct the preparation of the annual budget and contribute to the development of operational objectives aligned with Corporate strategic goals.
- Prepare and deliver plant financial forecasts and projections.
- Ensure an effective and efficient system of internal controls, including data integrity, asset protection, and adherence to corporate policies and governmental regulations.
- Lead proactive development of contingency plans, productivity improvement, and corrective actions to optimize facility financial results.
