Job Title: Stocker - Perishables

Restaurant Depot is a wholesale cash-and-carry foodservice distributor seeking a skilled Stocker - Perishables to join our team.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Stocker - Perishables to provide exceptional customer service, maintain a clean and safe work environment, and ensure accurate inventory management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide prompt and courteous customer service to internal and external customers.
  • Stock product on shelves, remove boxes from pallets, and organize items for optimal visibility.
  • Perform regular inspections to meet HACCP regulations and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Assist in reviewing inventory for product rotation daily to prevent shrinkage and damages.
  • Verify shelf pricing and ensure accurate inventory levels.
  • Collaborate with Hi-Lo operators to maintain a well-stocked and safe selling floor.
  • Communicate with supervisors regarding low stock or out-of-stock merchandise.
Physical Demands:
  • Walk/stand on concrete for up to 10 hours/day.
  • Frequently turn, stand, reach, stoop, and/or bend.
  • Frequently push/pull objects 500 to 1,500 lbs.
  • Frequently lift/carry objects more than 60 lbs.
Work Environment:
  • Frequent exposure to cold/freezing temperatures.
  • Equipment in motion (forklifts, electric pallet jacks, scooters).
  • Perform other work-related duties as required and assigned.
  • May be required to work in other departments as needed.
