Job Summary

Radiology Forward is seeking a skilled Radiology/Fluoro Technologist to join our team. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for preparing patients for radiological procedures and performing radiologic exams with precision and care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepares patients for radiological procedures and performs radiologic exams following established procedures for patient care and safety.
  • Performs high-quality radiologic exams on incoming patients in a timely manner while providing excellent patient care.
  • Protects patients, self, and staff from radiation exposure by practicing sound procedures that meet or exceed recommended industry standards.
  • Develops radiological film and processes CR and DR imaging.
  • Ensures that all equipment is in good working condition and in compliance.
  • Demonstrates competency regarding the need to safeguard patient property and Patient Health Information.
  • Safeguards any on-site medications in accordance with Company policies, procedures, and any legal requirements.
  • Demonstrates respect for company property, including any cash and patient financial information on site or on patient portals.
  • Is responsive to the needs of others by exhibiting and maintaining professional behavior toward patients and coworkers.
  • Demonstrates respect for patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities during all interactions.
  • Demonstrates ability to interact diplomatically and sympathetically with patients, their families, and the public in a clinical setting.
  • Demonstrates ability to establish, nurture, and maintain cooperative working relationships.

Requirements

  • ARRT(R) certification
  • State License in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology
  • Permit/Certification in Fluoroscopy
  • CPR/BLS certification
  • At least one year of diagnostic imaging experience is preferred
