Medical Device Production Specialist

As a Medical Device Production Specialist at W.L. Gore & Associates, you will be part of our esteemed Medical Division team. In this role, you will work collaboratively with the manufacturing team on the Day Shift, contributing to the production of medical devices. Your schedule may range from 4:00 AM to 2:30 PM, Monday through Thursday.
This position is located at our facility in Phoenix, Arizona. Please note that evening, night, and weekend shift positions are eligible for an additional $34-$36 hourly shift differential pay, depending on location.

Key Responsibilities- Set up and operate production equipment efficiently.
- Assemble materials using written instructions (Standard Operating Procedures).
- Visually inspect, ensure, and assemble parts in process to quality specifications.
- Accurately enter data into tracking systems.
- Work as a team member to foster a positive work environment.
- Maintain consistent and predictable attendance and punctuality.
- Partner with other functions to continuously assess and improve processes.
- Minimum one year of demonstrated, consistent work experience.
- Pass visual acuity assessment test including 20/20 with or without corrective vision.
- Excellent eye-hand coordination and fine motor skills with the ability to successfully pass a dexterity pre-screen test.
- Perform data collection/computer entry and basic math.
- Demonstrated good verbal and written communication skills.
- Maintain excellent attendance.
- Develop and maintain strong interpersonal relationships, be flexible, and open to change.
- Self-directed, work independently, motivated, detail-oriented, and task-focused.
- Continuous improvement mindset.
- Ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Ability to work within a controlled/clean-room manufacturing environment, including but not limited to: wear required clean room garments, set up equipment, light to moderate lifting, stand or sit for long periods of time, perform hand-intensive repetitive assembly of products, move from one manufacturing team or facility to another, and perform hand assembly/visual inspection utilizing measuring equipment.
