BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Home Health Occupational Therapist to join their team in Galesville, Maryland.

The successful candidate will work as an integral member of a multidisciplinary healthcare team providing rehabilitative care and skilled nursing to clients in the comfort of their own homes. About the Role:

This is an opportunity to work with a dynamic team that prioritizes patient-centered care and well-being. As a Home Health Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for:

  • Evaluating patients' functional status and developing personalized intervention plans to achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Conducting thorough assessments of patients' home environments to identify potential hazards and barriers to independent living.
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive care plans that address patients' physical, emotional, and social needs.
  • Providing education and training to patients and their families on rehabilitation techniques and strategies to promote independence and overall well-being.
Requirements:

To be considered for this rewarding opportunity, applicants must possess:

  • A current Maryland Occupational Therapist license.
  • Prior home care experience preferred but not required.
  • A minimum of one year of recent work experience as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Graduation from an occupational therapy program accredited by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation of the AMA and the AOTA.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
  • Solid computer skills and prior experience with electronic medical records (EMR) are highly desirable.

Compensation:

The estimated annual salary for this position is $ $83,000-$120,000, depending on qualifications and experience. Benefits may include mileage reimbursement, weekly pay, and direct deposit. Please note that these figures are estimates based on industry standards and may vary depending on individual circumstances.
