Job Summary:

AvaMed Workforce is seeking a skilled Clinical Psychologist to provide mental health services at a correctional facility in California. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in psychology and experience working with diverse populations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Consult with treatment teams and institutional healthcare personnel to develop effective treatment plans
• Conduct mental status exams and document patient progress
• Monitor inmate behavior and provide guidance on community standard practices
• Develop and implement mental health education programs for inmates

Requirements:

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Psychology
• California State Board of Psychology licensure
• Experience working in correctional settings
