About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Electrical Systems Project Manager to lead strategic initiatives in electrical construction projects. This is an exceptional opportunity for a highly skilled professional to drive project success and growth with our team at Sciens Building Solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all project phases, ensuring timely completion, budget adherence, and regulatory compliance.
  • Review design drawings to guarantee conformance with local and national standards.
  • Maintain detailed records of RFIs, product submittals, and purchasing activities.
  • Direct the procurement process for major buyout items and subcontractors.
  • Attend jobsite meetings and collaborate closely with foremen to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Provide expert guidance and support to field operations and engineering teams.
  • Prioritize project schedules and workforce planning forecasts.
  • Negotiate effectively with customers, contractors, and building inspectors.
  • Accurately estimate and propose change orders on projects.
  • Deliver comprehensive monthly updates on project budgets and cost-to-complete estimates.
Requirements and Qualifications

To excel in this role, you will require:

  • A minimum of two to five years of experience as a project manager in electrical construction.
  • No less than five years of hands-on electrical field experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of current NFPA 70, 72, 101, and Florida building code regulations.
  • A strong technical grasp of materials and methods used in electrical project installations.
  • Excellent customer-focused skills, coupled with proficiency in project and people management.
  • The ability to manage job scheduling and progress efficiently, prioritizing quality and cost-effectiveness.
  • A valid driver's license and capacity to pass background checks and drug screenings.
  • Able to interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and diagrams; and adhere to project specifications.
  • A self-motivated individual with excellent organizational, decision-making, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic computer skills.
  • Familiarity with OSHA safety standards.
  • Certified Project Manager or equivalent certification.
  • Bilingual (English) and a college degree.
