About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Architect to join our Corporate Practice in our Jacksonville, FL office location. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the expansion of RS&H's Jacksonville footprint and be a part of our voice in the market.

Job Summary

This role offers a unique chance to make an impact within an organization committed to innovation, imagination, and ingenuity. You will be responsible for strengthening our architectural team's design and operations, leading and mentoring young associates, developing relationships with current and new clients in the region, and working with a diverse client list.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a multi-discipline project team of architects, interior designers, and building engineers for successful project delivery.
  • Provide technical guidance and assign tasks to junior and support staff for project duration.
  • Engage with clients and strengthen our presence within the region as a service provider that focuses on cost-effective and creative design solutions.
  • Utilize and encourage the best uses of design technologies for presentation and production purposes while championing BIM technologies.
  • Perform analyses of design, planning, occupancy, and impact studies, cost analyses, design requirements, site selection, and limited design layouts.
  • Design and conduct experiments, as well as analyze and interpret data.
  • Prepare project specifications, compile, and analyze relevant data, and prepare complete project documents, analysis, and reports.
  • Prepare and present drawings, visual aids, and presentations.
  • Perform quality control reviews and ensure achievement of key milestones.
  • Formulate and solve problems with timely and innovative solutions.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture from an accredited university.
  • Minimum 5+ years of design experience.
  • Professional Registration required.
  • Strong marketing, sales, production, and team-building skills.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, communication, and relationship management skills.
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Photoshop.
