About the Role

This is a seasonal position offering subsidized housing. The season spans from December to March.

The Nordic Center Manager oversees outdoor activities at Badger Pass Ski Area, Yosemite. Responsibilities include ski lifts, grooming, lift maintenance, assisting with Ski Patrol and ski school as needed. Leading the team in safely operating equipment and operations is crucial.

Compensation:

The estimated salary range for this position is $66,560 to $68,000, depending on experience, qualifications, degrees, certifications, job history, market data, and other relevant factors. Additional compensation may include bonuses or commissions. As an 'at-will' employee, base salary can be modified by Aramark at any time due to individual performance, departmental performance, or market factors.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Minimum one (1) year management experience required, previous snow operations experience preferred
  • Basic knowledge of lift operations, snow removal, ski and snowboard equipment, related machinery, and labor costs controls
  • Guest service experience
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize between guest requests, administration tasks, safety, service, and leadership needs
  • Strong commitment to customer and client service, initiative, leadership, and team building skills
  • Strong supervisory/managerial skills and ability to manage frequent change
  • Must be able to ski or snowboard at least intermediate level; some snowmobile experience required
  • Must be able to work outdoors in various weather conditions and extreme cold temperatures for up to 8 hours
