Job Overview
We are currently seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer for our immunization information system software products. This is a permanent position that offers a competitive salary and benefits package, a casual work environment, PTO, and flexible hours. Responsibilities and Expectations
- Test new application features prior to deploying new versions or upgrades.
- Test updates to existing application functionality to address production issues.
- Execute regression tests on all releases.
- Perform testing for one or more Scrum Teams.
- Participate in Scrum Ceremonies such as backlog refinement, planning, daily standups, and retros.
- Develop, maintain, and execute manual tests based on acceptance criteria.
- Work with the development team to triage potential defects and then re-test those defects.
- Communicate risk to potential releases if you are not satisfied with quality.
- Collaborate (in both written and oral format) with Envision team members on peer test case reviews, ideas, designs, and bugs.
Requirements and Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in manual testing of Web-Based software applications.
- 5+ years of experience using SQL to write queries to validate back-end data.
- 5+ years of testing reports (Crystal, Paginated, Power BI).
- 8+ years of experience in test plan/test case creation, defect tracking, and metrics reporting.
- 3+ years of experience testing APIs.
- 2+ years of experience testing Azure Services.
- 5+ years of experience testing in an Agile environment.
- 1-5 years of experience mentoring QA Engineers.
- Proficient in testing systems at all levels, including UI, component, integration, system, end-to-end, and regression.
