About the Role:

We are currently seeking a skilled Hospice Assistant to join our team. This is a full-time opportunity that offers a competitive salary and benefits package.

Job Description:

The Hospice Assistant will play a vital role in supporting our patients and families by providing personal care services as needed. This may include assisting with bathing, dressing, and feeding, as well as monitoring vital signs and reporting any changes to the Case Manager.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide personal care services to patients as assigned, including bathing, dressing, and feeding.
  • Monitor vital signs and report any changes to the Case Manager.
  • Assist with light laundry needs and keep patient living areas clean and tidy.
  • Provide respite care for patients and families as needed.
  • Document care provided and maintain accurate records.

Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you will need to have:

  • A minimum of 6 months' experience in a healthcare setting.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Ability to read and follow written instructions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Estimated Salary: $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
