Nursing Team Lead Position in Central New York

Rome Memorial Hospital is currently seeking a highly skilled Nurse Supervisor to lead our resident care team. This role requires exceptional leadership and organizational skills to ensure the delivery of high-quality nursing care across multiple units.
This position involves coordinating and supervising the activities of healthcare professionals, establishing goals and direction for the team, and ensuring that nursing practices align with hospital policies and procedures. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, be able to delegate responsibilities effectively, and possess a solid understanding of nursing standards and regulations.
About the Role:
- Lead and supervise a team of nurses to deliver high-quality patient care
- Develop and implement nursing plans, policies, and procedures
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accreditation standards
- Collaborate with other departments to achieve hospital goals and objectives
Requirements:
- Current Registered Nurse License in New York State
- Five years of progressive nursing experience, including one year in Long Term Care and supervisory/Charge Nurse experience
- Basic Life Support certification required within three months of hire
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field preferred
