About the Role

Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN for an exciting opportunity in Palo Alto, California. This 13-week assignment offers a chance to make a positive impact while exploring the Bay Area.

Job Description and Requirements

This Triage Registered Nurse position requires one to three years of experience as a Registered Nurse. The ideal candidate will possess critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills. They should be able to read and comprehend written instructions, follow verbal instructions, and have PC skills.

The role involves communicating and collaborating with physicians and other health team members, providing and coordinating patient care, monitoring patients' responses to interventions, and administering medications as ordered. Other responsibilities include maintaining cleanliness of rooms, transporting patients as needed, and performing other duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Interpersonal Skills: Ability to work effectively with various personnel, present a positive attitude, and maintain a professional appearance
  • Technical/Motor Skills: Ability to grasp, fine manipulation, pushing/pulling, and move about when assisting with procedures or using department equipment
  • Mental Requirements: Ability to cope with frequent contact with the general public, customers, and meeting deadlines under pressure

Salary Information

The estimated salary for this role is $150,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience and location. Benefits start day 1, including medical, dental, vision, mileage reimbursement, license and certification reimbursement, weekly pay, cancellation protection, guaranteed hours, employee assistance programs, and continuing education opportunities.
