Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at Ascension Seton. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for operating a scanner to obtain high-quality images used to diagnose and treat various pathologies.

Responsibilities
  • Operate a scanner to obtain high-quality images of the body.
  • Prepare and position patients accurately to produce cross-sectional images.
  • Perform patient pre-screening, scheduling, and education related to the examination.
  • Enter and monitor patient data, transfer images from disk to magnetic media, and develop film in an automatic processor.
  • Follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines.
  • Ensure prompt submission of high-quality images and documents sent to PACS.
  • Assist in maintaining a clean and orderly department.
Requirements
  • Licensure/Certification/Registration: BLS Provider, Nuclear Medical Tech, Radiologic Technologist, Medical Sonographer, or Technologist specializing in Magnetic Resonance Imaging.
  • Education: High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience or Associate's degree/Technical degree.
