Responsibilities

As an RN at Doctors Hospital of Laredo, your primary responsibilities will include:
  • Providing safe, competent nursing care to patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy.
  • Assessing patient needs and developing individualized care plans.
  • Collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate patient care.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful as an RN at Doctors Hospital of Laredo, you will need:
  • A graduate degree from an accredited or NLN-approved RN program.
  • A current state nursing license.
  • One year of full-time or three years of part-time experience in an acute care setting.
  • A Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Handle with Care certifications (or obtained within six months of employment).
