Job Title: Route Delivery Driver

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Route Delivery Driver to join our team at Core-Mark, a leading distributor of fresh and broad-line solutions to the convenience retail industry.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering and unloading food and food-related products to customers in a safe and timely manner, while ensuring excellent customer service and adhering to Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive a tractor trailer or straight truck on intrastate and interstate routes to deliver and unload products to customers.
  • Perform pre- and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition and meets DOT safety standards.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and co-workers to resolve any issues or concerns.
  • Load and unload products from the trailer, and secure the trailer doors.
  • Verify delivery of products with customers and obtain signatures.
  • Collect payments and complete necessary paperwork.
  • Perform daily record-keeping and log entries in accordance with Federal DOT, state, and company requirements.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • Valid CDL-A license.
  • 21+ years of age.
  • Meet all State licensing and/or certification requirements (where applicable).
  • Clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for past 3 years.
  • Pass post-offer drug test and criminal background check.
  • Pass road test.
  • Attain or have valid current DOT Health Card.
  • Able to lift and move product cases/freight of varying size and weight throughout the shift.
