About the Role

Haystack Consultants, an established company in central Fresno, seeks a highly skilled Financial Management Specialist to oversee all aspects of financial record-keeping and reporting. This individual will be responsible for managing the company's financial transactions and ensuring accuracy and compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and update general ledger accounts to ensure accurate financial records.
  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable efficiently to maintain a smooth cash flow.
  • Reconcile bank statements and monthly financial statements to identify any discrepancies.
  • Prepare comprehensive financial reports and statements for management to inform strategic decisions.
  • Manage payroll processing and related tax filings to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes to maintain accurate financial records.
  • Ensure adherence to GAAP and other regulatory requirements to maintain the company's financial integrity.
  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities to inform business decisions.
  • Coordinate with external auditors for annual audits to maintain transparency and accountability.
  • Manage and maintain accurate financial records to support business operations.
Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred but not required.
  • A minimum of 10 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience is essential for this role.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks is necessary for effective financial management.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards is crucial for accurate financial reporting.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills are necessary for maintaining accurate financial records.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities are essential for identifying and resolving financial discrepancies.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks is necessary for meeting deadlines and delivering results.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for effective collaboration with stakeholders.
