The City of New York is seeking a highly skilled Strategic Recruitment and Onboarding Leader to oversee the efficient administration, operation, and service delivery of recruitment strategies and onboarding processes.

About Us

The Department of Social Services (DSS) is comprised of the administrative units of the New York City Human Resources Administration (HRA) and the Department of Homeless Services (DHS). Our mission is to fight poverty and income inequality by providing essential benefits to New Yorkers in need.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee the development and implementation of innovative recruitment strategies to attract a diverse pool of candidates.
  • Manage the onboarding process to ensure a seamless transition for new employees.
  • Collaborate with HR Business Partners and senior managers to design and implement effective recruitment and onboarding solutions.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators to ensure compliance with agency standards.
Requirements

A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university, plus four years of satisfactory full-time experience performing work related to recruitment, personnel relations, staff development, employment program planning/administration, labor relations. 18 months of this experience must have been in an executive, managerial, administrative, or supervisory capacity.

Estimated Salary Range:

$93,000 - $140,000 per year
