Job Summary
The Physician for Urgent Care Centers at Inova Health System is responsible for delivering high-quality medical care to patients and collaborating with healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
This role involves conducting comprehensive medical exams, making diagnoses, developing treatment plans, and educating patients on disease prevention and management.
The Physician will also participate in the development of programs such as preventive health screenings, immunization programs, and quality assurance initiatives.
Additionally, the Physician will participate in clinical research projects and studies, provide in-service staff development and clinical teachings, and maintain a consultative relationship with nurses, social workers, and other staff members.
Requirements
- Current unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of Virginia
- Physician Residency; Successful completion of physician residency program
- Doctor of Medicine degree from an accredited institution
