ABA Therapist

Cortica is seeking a skilled Behavior Interventionist to join its team of dedicated professionals. As a key member of our multidisciplinary treatment team, you will provide direct behavior therapy services to individuals with autism and other neurodevelopmental differences.

• Implement behavior-analytic services to children with autism spectrum disorder and other neurodevelopmental differences in 1:1 and group settings.
• Develop and implement positive behavior strategies with the support of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
• Work collaboratively with families and the BCBA to establish a supportive environment for treatment and education.
• Document all interactions, including session notes and data collection, to ensure accurate tracking of progress.
• Participate in crisis and emergency procedures, including de-escalation strategies and first aid.

• Experience working with children, preferably those with autism.
• Bachelor's degree in a human service field or related field; relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Current Registered Behavioral Technician (RBT) or Board-Certified Autism Technician (BCAT) certification or willingness to obtain BCAT credential through Cortica's training program.
• Valid California Driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Proficiency in using electronic medical record systems and Microsoft Office products.
