At The Laurels of Defiance, we are committed to providing exceptional care to our residents. As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality nursing care services and health education to our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise the care and services provided by Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA)/State-Tested Nursing Assistants (STNA) and other team members who care for our guests.
- Assess the health of our guests and notify the physician of any changes in their status.
- Select and implement appropriate nursing interventions to stabilize a guest's condition and/or prevent complications.
- Contribute to the guest's assessment (MDS/CAA's) and the development of a plan of care.
Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of experience in a long-term care setting is preferred.
- Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) licensure in the state is required.
- CPR certification is also required.
