**About the Role**

The Mount Sinai Health System is seeking a skilled and experienced Healthcare Leader to serve as the Psychiatric Unit Manager.

**Responsibilities**

  • Unit Management: The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Inpatient Psych Unit and CPEP, ensuring that the unit maintains the highest standards of patient care and is responsive to the needs of patients and families.
  • Staff Leadership: As a leader, you will be charged with managing a team of staff members, providing guidance, support, and coaching to ensure that they have the necessary tools and resources to deliver exceptional patient care.
  • Quality Improvement: You will be responsible for implementing and evaluating quality performance initiatives, working closely with other professionals to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction.
  • Collaboration: You will work closely with nursing leaders, physicians, and other hospital employees to ensure seamless collaboration and communication throughout the organization.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing and Master's degree in Nursing or healthcare-related field (or currently enrolled in program)
  • 3-5 years minimum demonstrated clinical psychiatry experience, including progressive management required experience/success
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • Licensed as a Registered Nurse in New York State; Basic Life Support certification from AHA

Salary and Benefits

The salary range for this role is $115,494 - $173,241 annually, commensurate with experience. The Mount Sinai Health System offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, 401(k) matching, and generous paid time off.
