About the Job

This hands-on teaching position involves delivering training programs on Cloud technologies for the US Army. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing training materials, assessing student performances, and maintaining good order and discipline in a training environment.

Responsibilities

">
  • ">
  • Leverage your experience with data engineering principles and practical adoption to deliver classroom education supporting ongoing professional development.">
  • Develop training material, assist with validation, implement training material as certified classroom instruction, and maintain training material to support Signal School courses.">
  • Design and develop cloud computing, zero-trust cybersecurity methodologies, and development-related training support packages through lesson plans, presentations, and practical exercises.">
  • Align training material with course design and learning outcomes as specified in the Program of Instruction (POI), course map, and associated Terminal Learning Objectives (TLO) for each course.">
  • Validate learning products and material to ensure they meet intended learning outcomes efficiently and effectively.">
  • Develop assessments (labs, quizzes, and tests) to evaluate student's ability to understand training material and meet the intended learning outcome.">
  • Maintain and update data science, zero-trust cybersecurity methodologies, and development-related training support packages.">
  • Administer tests and student assessments.">
  • Instruct various field-related courses and evaluate student performances using approved Instructional methodology.">

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • ">
  • A Bachelor's degree in a STEM subject, Master's degree preferred.">
  • At least one of the following certifications: AWS Cloud Solutions Architecture, or MS Azure Solutions Architect Expert.">
  • A minimum of 3 years of operational experience working within Cloud technologies.">
  • Demonstrated experience designing and delivering Data Engineering and Data Management classes within a classroom setting.">
  • Experience and familiarity with developing classroom-ready training materials, utilizing Learning Management Systems, and administering tests and exams to assess competency.">

Salary and Benefits

">

The estimated salary for this position is $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience. Benefits include health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
