EMT Training Program

MEMS offers a comprehensive EMT-B training program at our headquarters in downtown Little Rock. Our 9-week, full-time in-house training is designed to equip aspiring EMTs with the knowledge and skills required to succeed in the field.
To be considered for our EMT-B training program, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Valid Arkansas driver's license and acceptable driving record.
- Minimum age of 19.
- Must be physically fit and able to pass a physical examination.
- Must have acceptable scores on the college placement Accuplacer exam, which is offered onsite at MEMS at no cost.
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screening.
- Must pass a criminal background check.
Successful completion of our EMT-B training program leads to certification and eligibility for full-time employment with MEMS. Our EMTs receive a competitive hourly rate of $11.00 per hour during training and a starting base annual salary of $32,000 after certification, with opportunities for advancement and career growth.
