Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Assistant to join our Sports Medicine team. As a key member of our clinical staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our clinic, providing exceptional patient care and supporting the delivery of high-quality services.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist physicians in the delivery of patient care, including rooming patients, scheduling appointments, and coordinating care.
  • Manage patient load efficiently, prioritizing tasks and resolving scheduling conflicts as needed.
  • Obtain prior authorization and pre-certification for diagnostic testing and rehabilitation services, documenting appropriately in patient charts.
  • Support office administration, patient communication, and maintenance of reports and processes for the sports medicine program.
  • Maintain open lines of communication with physicians and other healthcare team members, reviewing patient progress and service utilization with Sports Medicine physicians.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Three years medical office experience preferred.
  • Skill in operating a computer, specifically Microsoft Office applications.
  • Current CPR certification desirable.
  • Effective interpersonal and customer service skills, ability to multitask and problem solve required.
Compensation and Benefits:

The estimated annual salary for this position is $60,000-$80,000, depending on experience. Additionally, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
