About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Hospitality Ambassador to join our team at Blue Hill Country Club. As a key member of our front-of-house staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our guests have an exceptional dining experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare tables for service, including setting up napkins, utensils, and condiments.
  • Stay up-to-date on current menu offerings, specials, and menu deviations to ensure accurate information is provided to guests.
  • Handle table bookings, direct customers to their seats, present menus, suggest dishes, assist with drink selection, inform guests about food preparation details, and communicate specific guest needs to the kitchen staff.
  • Maintain a high level of service standards, delivering items, fulfilling customer needs, offering desserts and drinks, removing courses, replenishing utensils, and refilling glasses.
  • Pour wine and prepare mixed drinks for service to customers' tables.
  • Obtain revenues, issue receipts, accept payments, and balance server chits and receipts accurately.
  • Perform basic cleaning tasks as needed or directed by supervisors.
  • Fill in for absent staff members as required.
  • Assist with special events as needed.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous serving experience required.
  • Excellent oral communication skills necessary.
  • Positive interpersonal skills required.
  • Must speak English fluently and be able to write in basic English.
