Respiratory Care Specialist

Ellis Medicine is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Respiratory department. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Implement and evaluate the effectiveness of care plans, making adjustments as needed.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families, promoting health and wellness.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of excellence.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited RN program.
- Current licensure in NYS or eligibility for limited permit to practice.
- Minimum of 1 year of acute care experience preferred.
- Current BLS certification required.
Salary Range:
$37.54-$53.18/hour
Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates.
