Job Summary
The Medical Laboratory Technician performs various clinical laboratory tests, procedures, and related duties utilizing scientific principles and technical skills.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Associate's degree in Medical Laboratory Technology from an accredited two-year-college program or technical school, six months to one year of related experience or training preferred, certification as Medical Laboratory Technician from the ASCP, AMT, or equivalent required within 12 months of hire.
Work Schedule
Varied shift schedule: 8 am - 6 pm, 7:30 am - 4 pm, noon to 8 pm, or 2:30 pm to 11 pm; may fill in on overnight shift as needed, rotate every third weekend/holiday, full-time position with 72 hours every two weeks.
