Job Overview

PMA Consultants Careers is seeking a seasoned Senior Construction Project Manager to lead our team in Northern California. As a director-level professional, you will be responsible for driving project delivery and growth across various sectors, including Water, Wastewater, K-12, and Transportation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute comprehensive project plans, ensuring timely completion and budget adherence.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and partners, fostering a collaborative environment that drives business growth.
  • Directly oversee a portfolio of projects, making strategic decisions to mitigate risks and capitalize on opportunities.
  • Cultivate local market expertise, staying abreast of industry trends and best practices to inform project execution and business development initiatives.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
  • A minimum of 10 years' experience in blended client management, business development leadership positions, and construction project management/project controls.
  • Proven track record of directing client relationships from pursuit through project delivery, expanding services offered, and delivering substantial business growth.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Established SF Bay Area client and partner relationships throughout the local market.
  • AACE International (CCP, PSP, CEP, EVP), CMAA (CCM), and PMI (PMP, SP, RMP) certifications preferred.
  • CA Professional Engineer License preferred or the ability to obtain it within one year.
