Account Development Manager

The role of an Account Executive at US Foods involves developing and maintaining existing accounts through personal visits and follow-up on a systematic basis. This requires a strong ability to communicate with customers, apprise them of mutual performance, new products, programs, and market trends both informally and through periodic Business Reviews.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain relationships with existing accounts to ensure optimum service, maximize AE time spent with customers, meet or exceed accounts receivable currency targets, and review all accounts for program compliance.
- Identify needs, expand sales, and maintain a profile on all accounts including order guides, statements, periodicals, and overall reporting.
- Verify pricing information to ensure correctness and attend Sales Meetings, Training Sessions, Food Shows, and Conferences as deemed necessary by Management and Customer requirements.
- A minimum of three years of sales or distribution experience in the foodservice industry or related field is required.
- Bachelor's degree in Business/Marketing is preferred.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, customer service, presentation abilities, problem-solving ability, and negotiation skills are essential.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel is required.
- The expected compensation for this role is between $80,000 and $95,000 per year, depending on experience and geographic location.
- This role is also eligible for an annual incentive plan bonus.
