Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Financial Records Specialist to join The Building People team. As a key member of our accounting department, you will play a vital role in maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records.

About the Job

The ideal candidate will have experience with government accounting and financial systems, as well as excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. You will be responsible for processing financial entries, preparing management reports, and providing administrative support to government personnel.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process and maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and journals.
  • Assist with the creation, receiving, and processing of invoices, ensuring compliance with internal and federal guidelines.
  • Prepare and review financial statements, including balance records and reconciliation differences.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in government accounting and financial systems.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Salary Range:

$45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience.
