Job OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Mother/Baby Unit team at White Oak Medical Center. This is a part-time night shift position, with two shifts per week, alternating weekends and holidays.
Responsibilities- Educate patients and family members through the continuum of care, promoting a safe and supportive environment.
- Serve as role models to Level I nurses, utilizing electronic resources to support best practices in patient care.
- Demonstrate professionalism, adhering to ANA standards of practice and exemplifying the Adventist HealthCare values.
- Use equipment and technology correctly, delegating non-nursing duties appropriately to maximize efficiency and effectiveness.
- Develop a plan of care according to patient population, identifying impending changes in patient condition accurately and initiating corrective action.
- Mentor students, colleagues, and team members in patient-centered care, conducting purposeful rounding from a patient and family perspective.
- Conduct efficient literature searches and apply findings appropriately to practice, identifying opportunities for improvement in clinical care and participating in change of practice based on evidence.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Passing score on NCLEX.
- Minimum 1 year of RN experience required.
- Current Maryland State nursing license.
- Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- ACLS, PALS, NRP as required by specialty area.

Please note that salary discussions will occur during the screening process. The estimated annual salary range for this position is $77,000 - $110,500, depending on qualifications and experience.
