Job Title: Licensed Mental Health Therapist Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our team at Family Access Center. As a key member of our team, you will provide individual, family, and couples mental health therapy to children, adolescents, and adult clients.



Responsibilities:


  • Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments, treatment planning, and client discharges.
  • Coordinate services with referral sources and other professionals.
  • Develop and maintain confidential client records.
  • Provide crisis response as needed.
  • Participate and assist in program development and implementation throughout the organization.
  • Attend all-staff meetings, weekly clinical meetings, and individual case supervision.
  • Attend training sessions.
  • Build rapport and positive working relationships with clients and staff.
  • Proficient in completing timely electronic documentation.
  • Ability to navigate computers and essential computer programs used in the organization.
  • Punctuality and time management skills are imperative.


Requirements:


  • Master's Degree in Counseling or Social Work, licensed in the State of Iowa (LMHC, LISW or LMSW temporary licensure accepted).
  • Valid driver's license, and vehicle insurance.

Work Schedule:

This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, with the ability to work days and some evenings until 8 pm.



Salary:

Up to $68,000

Family Access Center is a fast-paced, high-volume organization that provides mental health services to children, adolescents, and adult clients. We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our team.



The ideal candidate will have a Master's Degree in Counseling or Social Work, be licensed in the State of Iowa, and have a valid driver's license and vehicle insurance. The candidate will also have excellent communication and time management skills, and be able to work independently and as part of a team.



The Licensed Mental Health Therapist will provide individual, family, and couples mental health therapy, conduct comprehensive mental health assessments, treatment planning, and client discharges, and coordinate services with referral sources and other professionals.



The candidate will also be responsible for developing and maintaining confidential client records, providing crisis response as needed, and participating and assisting in program development and implementation throughout the organization.
