Job Summary:

As an Airframe and Powerplant Mechanic at Air Transport International, you will be responsible for the overhaul, maintenance, and repair of airframe components, powerplants, and associated equipment. This role requires a high level of technical expertise and attention to detail, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform maintenance and repairs on airframe components, powerplants, and associated equipment
  • Inspect and test equipment to ensure it is functioning properly
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues
  • Document all work performed and maintain accurate records
  • Collaborate with other technicians and supervisors to ensure efficient and effective maintenance operations

Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Valid Airframe and Powerplant license (FAR 121.378a)
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs and work at heights up to 80 feet
  • Ability to clearly communicate with customers and co-workers
  • Must complete a DOT/FAA pre-employment drug screen and DOT/FAA complaint background check

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Parts 121, 125, 145; Heavy transport category aircraft experience
  • Ground sec coord duties
